The green-licensed plug-in hybrid C5 Aircross will arrive in Hungary in mid-2020

After the Peugeot 508 and 3008, the Citroën C5 Aircross also received the PSA Group's plug-in hybrid powertrain. Here is the Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid.

The C5 doesn't get the 300-horsepower all-wheel drive system, but the 225-horsepower front-wheel drive version. Under the hood is a 1,6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, whose 180 horsepower is supported by an additional 107 horsepower from an electric motor. The total power of 225 horsepower is accompanied by 320 Nm of torque.

Equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the new model has a battery capacity of 13,2 kWh, allowing for a range of around 50 kilometres in pure electric mode on a single charge, according to the WLTP standard. A full charge takes 2,5-7 hours, and in electric mode, the maximum speed is 135 km/h.

The domestic distribution of the Citroën C39 Aircross Hybrid, with a base price of 950 euros (13,2 million forints), will begin in mid-5.
