Just a few weeks ago, the facelifted Opel Astra celebrated its world premiere and Opel Astra Sports Tourer at the Brussels Motor Show, and modernized and improved versions of the best-selling models in the compact segment are now available to order. The Astra – designed, developed and produced at Opel’s headquarters in Rüsselsheim – boasts innovative technologies, even greater comfort and an even more distinctive look, but the price remains unchanged.

Customers get even more for their money: the Opel Astra Electric is still available from €37,990 and the Astra Sports Tourer Electric from €39,490 (all prices incl. The hybrid model is available from €32,990 with a system output of 107 kW (145 hp).

""With its new design, technology and comfort features, such as the first illuminated Opel lightning rod and Intelli seats as standard, we are taking our compact bestseller to the next level. Furthermore, by keeping the prices unchanged, we are ensuring that the Astra remains affordable regardless of the drivetrain! We are making our customers an offer they cannot refuse," said Patrick Dinger, Head of Opel Germany.

Award-winning, over 50,000 elements available as an option Intelli-Lux HD lighting , which adapts to all situations even at night. Just don't get it damaged, because replacing it... By the way, the system recognizes traffic signs and adjusts the brightness of the LEDs so that the light reflected from the signs does not blind the driver. Intelli-Lux HD is now standard equipment in the new, top-of-the-range "Ultimate" trim level.

And the interior?

Opel Astra

The Astra engineers have also further optimised the interior. Intelli-Seats are standard in all model variants. They feature a special recess in the middle of the seat that reduces pressure on the tailbone. The patented Intelli-Seat ergonomic function ensures relaxed driving comfort even on long journeys. Starting with the GS trim level, the driver's seat is also AGR-certified (Aktion Gesunder Rücken eV / Campaign for Healthy Backs), and in the optional ReNewKnit™ version, both the driver's and front passenger's seats are AGR-certified.

At the same time, the multimedia infotainment user interface has become even clearer, more concise and more intuitive. New visualizations and graphics on the screens give the interior a more modern look. In terms of practicality, they are now even easier for the driver to read than before.

In line with Opel's "Greenovation" approach, the Astra's interior features a number of resource-saving materials and surface structures: the steering wheel is entirely covered in vegan materials, and the optional seat covers are made from ReNewKnit™, a special, high-quality monofilament with a suede-like effect.

Astra Electric with a range of up to 454 kilometers (WLTP)

Saving resources was also a key consideration in the further development of the electric drive portfolio. The 115 kW (156 hp) Astra Electric with a 58 kWh battery now enables a range of up to 454 kilometers (WLTP) – an increase of around 35 kilometers.

Finally here: the fully electric Astra now offers the V2L – Vehicle to Load – function for the first time, making it possible to charge external devices such as electric bikes or the like at the holiday destination without having to rely on other power sources. To make the transition to electromobility even more attractive, customers can also enjoy the many benefits of the Opel “Electric All In” program when purchasing a new Astra Electric.

The hybrid Astra has an output of 107 kW (145 hp) and starts at €32,990, while the plug-in hybrid version has a system output of 144 kW (196 hp) and starts at €38,460. A 1,5-liter diesel with an output of 96 kW (130 hp) and starts at €34,640 completes the broad powertrain portfolio.
